For many of us, our homes provide a safe place to stay. But for domestic violence victims, their home may not provide the same safe feeling. They are finding themselves in the same home as their abuser.
We can help. Here’s what I’m doing.
Between now and August 7, I will walk 100 miles. I’m not just walking for myself. I’m walking the extra miles for domestic violence victims. I hope to use this challenge to benefit YWCA Rock County’s domestic violence programming - which provides safe housing, food, legal advocacy and more for domestic violence victims.
