Agreement to Hold Harmless
I acknowledge that:
1. I am participating in the 2026 Juneteenth Celebration event co-hosted by YWCA Rock County and the Elite Ladies of Beloit.
2. I will be assigned a specific space to display and sell my products.
In consideration of the foregoing information, I agree that or acknowledge:
1. I will abide by the following rules, regulations and policies set forth by the Juneteenth Celebration eventcommittee.
2. I will use only the space assigned to me.
3. I am expected to provide my own stall furnishings including, but not limited to tables and chairs.
4. Access to electrical outlets cannot be guaranteed. If my business relies on electrical power, I may bring my own generator. I will make sure all plugs are able to be inserted into a standard “household” outlet.
5. If I intend to use a generator, I must indicate so on the application form. I acknowledge that generators may be inspected for noise level, fumes, disturbance to neighboring vendors and safety. Inspections may be made throughout the event. If my generator is not approved, I will need to make arrangements for an alternative power source and must stop using it immediately. Any generator that is considered loud or a noise distraction will not be allowed.
6. Any extension cords I use are required to be covered with duct tape as not to create a trip hazard.
7. As a vendor, I am not allowed to sell, lease, sublet, share or transfer the use of my stall(s) to other vendors.
8. Hawking is not allowed as it is disruptive. Hawking is defined as selling products in an aggressive way by yelling, barking or screaming to promote your product.
9. I will clean my space throughout and at the end of the event. All waste products will be removed.
10. I will be responsible for and pay for any personal injuries, property damage or clean-up cost caused by my activities or anyone associated with me.
11. YWCA Rock County and the Elite Ladies of Beloit will not be responsible for any personal injuries or property damage caused by myself or anyone associated with me. I agree to pay all proven claims for any such injury or damage. This includes the cost of any lawsuits that constitute out-of-pocket and or attorney fees.
