CommUNITY for a Cause

This past year has been more challenging for families and business than any of us could have ever imagined. YWCA Rock County has remained positive during this challenging time and has been fortunate to be able to carry on with our vital programs and services that we continue to offer Rock County.

This however, hasn’t been without its many challenges. With limitations and safety precautions put into place to keep our community safe during the pandemic, YWCA Rock County has had to cancel several of its fundraising events over this past year. One annual event in particular that had to be cancelled is called Chef’s Cookin’ for a Cause, which is a crucial fundraiser that raises $75,000 for the organization each year. I’m sure you can only imagine the toll that this took on our organization with this substantial lost revenue.

This event brings together the community and area businesses, while raising money for YWCA Rock County’s five programs. And even though this event wasn’t able to happen, we feel that we can still accomplish the goal of this event with your help. Will you support YWCA Rock County and help us raise $75,000 to make up for lost revenue from canceled fundraising events due to the pandemic? Your donation will help us reach our goal and allow us to continue our work in the community.

YWCA Rock County is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. We do this through our 5 main programs: Domestic Violence Services, Child Care, our CARE House, Racial Justice and Immigrant Outreach.
