Juneteenth Celebration

June 20, 2020, 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Telfer Park, Beloit

Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Join the Elite Ladies of Beloit and YWCA Rock County and for an educational celebration.

Vendors interested in participating in the 2020 Juneteenth Celebration must fill out the vendor application and submit payment. On the application, you will be required to accept the following guidelines:

By submitting this request, I acknowledge that:

  1. I am participating in the Juneteenth Celebration Event.
  2. I will be assigned a specific place to display and sell my products.

In consideration of the foregoing, I agree that:

  1. I will abide by all the Rules, Regulations and Policies set forth by the Juneteenth Celebration Event Committee and YWCA Rock County).
  2. I will use only the space assigned to me.
  3. Vendors are expected to provide their own stall furnishings including, but not limited to:tables and chairs
  4. Access to electrical outlets cannot be guaranteed.If your business relies on electrical power, you may bring your own generator as back up.Please note that all plugs must be able to be inserted into a standard “household” outlet.
  5. Vendors who intend to use a generator must indicate so on the application form.Generators will be inspected for noise level, fumes, disturbance to neighboring vendors, and safety.Inspections may be made throughout the day.If your generator does not meet approval, you will need to make arrangements for an alternative power source and must stop using it immediately.Any generator that is considered loud or a noise distraction will not be allowed.
  6. All vendors that run extension cords are required to cover cords with duct tape or a rug as to not create a trip hazard.
  7. Vendors are not allowed to sell, lease, sublet, share, or transfer the use of their stall(s) to other vendors.
  8. Hawking is not allowed as it is disruptive.Hawking is defined as selling products in an aggressive way by yelling, barking, or screaming to promote your product.
  9. I will clean my space at the end of the day.All waste products will be removed.
  10. I will be responsible for and pay any personal injuries, property damage or clean-up costs caused by my activities or anyone associated with me.
  11. The Juneteenth Celebration Committee and YWCA Rock County will not be responsible for any personal injuries or property damage caused by me or anyone associated with me.I agree to pay any claims for any such injury or damage claims.This includes the cost of any lawsuits that constitute out-of-pocket and attorney fees.
