Supporting YWCA Rock County's efforts in bringing an end to domestic violence
Over the last 13 years, people have supported YWCA Rock County and walked over 1,500 miles to help bring an end to domestic violence in Rock County. In 2018, YWCA received 560 calls and texts to the 24 hour helpline. YWCA provided 20,842 shelter nights in the Alternatives to Violence Shelter and the Transitions program.
Join us FRIDAY, AUGUST 9 for the YWCA's 13th Annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes to support bringing an end to domestic violence in our County.
This unique, fun march invites you to walk a mile in women's shoes to raise awareness and funds for the YWCA Rock County's efforts to help adults and children affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Not sure you want to walk in heels? Don't worry, you can still get pumped up about the cause by walking with us in comfy footwear. We just need you to show your support of the loved ones in your life by taking a stand, or a walk rather, against domestic violence.
4:30 to 5:30pm Registration/Shoe Fitting
5:30pm WALK Begins!
6:00pm Dinner, Live Auction, Bucket Raffle, Program, Cash Bar
8:30pm Team & Individual Prizes Awarded
